the hunt for the perfect costume...
when i ask my kids what they want to be for halloween... i get the same old answers. grace would like to be a princess. she would really like to be snow white even though she was snow white last year. mason would love to be a super hero even though i think he's been a super hero for every halloween. jake just says... i don't know. i bet he'd be a yankees baseball player for the 3rd time if i let him. so i'm on the hunt for something original. or at least original for us. so here are a couple i have found in my searching on the web.
i told grace she could be a princess if we can talk mason into being prince charming...
he's NOT going for it.
i told mason he could be a super hero if we could talk grace into being batgirl...
she's NOT going for it.
mason would love to be this one... it falls under the super hero category though...
we'll see if we come across an obi-wan kenobi next week at disneyland.
hey it's a princess right?
i know i could talk my kids into these costumes... but they don't come in their sizes.
even though my kids collect pez dispensers... this costume is just a little creepy.
these next 2 are so cute... they won't fit my kids but i'm thinking beckam's cute face would look adorable sticking out of either one...
and the lion...
i thought the wheaties box was pretty cute.
he said... who would want to be a box of cereal?
and who can resist the sumo wrestler.... i think jake liked him. i just don't know if it would fit??
and for those adults who like to dress as couples...
this was the cutest one i found...
do you know who everyone in your house is going to be??

I would be so happy if my kids would be the same thing as last year it would save money and I wouldn't have to worry about costumes. All of your pictures are great costumes except for the pez. I think that Beckham would look cute in the lion costume. Your family should go as the Wizzard of Oz.
Brandon wants to be a Jedi, Benny an army guy, and Becky some person from Anime, I have no clue how to find that costume. The boys are mostly done.
Happy costume hunting.
fun costumes. i knew they had to have "tracy" costumes. too bad they are too big. i think i would pay to see dave and jake as father/son air fresheners.
Tanner had that elephant costume for his 1st halloween. But we had trouble fitting his fat little head in there.
I'm not sure what my kids are going to be yet. I have to wait till it gets closer because they always change their minds.
Cade is going as a big mac and Coda is going as french fries. Fairly normal compared to some of Cade's original idea's, namely the pink M&M (does that exist?), a gumball machine and of course Mario for the third time.
ahh, i want to be lucy, cute costume.
i like the star wars theme and i think you and dave could totally pull off the barbie and ken.
i have no idea what my kids are going to be. keep searching and let me know what you find. ;)
loooooooove the barbie & ken!!!!
we too are on the hunt for Halloween costumes...some know, others...still looking!
I think Dave should be the fat wrestler or I saw a plummer with the butt crack hanging out.Come on he might look hott:O) We on the other hand are still looking.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Trace is going to be "The Great Bambino" and I think I am going to have Talan be a pumpkin. He was a dino last year!! I try to make my kids as cute as possible cause I steal most of there candy!! Ha!
So excited for you to be doing our pics next month...can't wait. A side note on the OJ Simpson thing- did you know the little cafe across from the courthouse is giving away free orange juice in their little "free OJ" campaign. Thought it was quite clever. Anyway I have a great idea for my family's costumes but I don't feel like raking out the dough for a bunch of costumes, maybe next year!
I figured it out!!!!! Halloween is always hard at our house too. They change their minds a million times....I have always sewn their costumes but fabric here is so expensive....I should have made them this summer. I think your kids would be fun as Suley, Mike and who was the snake lady(mike's girlfriend) or Boo.
Cute costumes...Parker and Faith were Darth Vader and Princess Leah one year, it was so fun!!!! I think the wheaties costume is my fav!!! Parker is going to be a punk rocker, Faith- Hannah Montana(of course), Hope- Minnie Mouse, & Charity- a lady bug. My kids plan these things out a whole year in advance!
